Nebulizer Essential Oil Diffuser Reviews
1. Organic Aromas Radiance Diffuser
Up first on our reviews is the Radiance diffuser by Organic Aromas, which is one of the many Organic Aromas’ diffusers we are going to examine today.
The very first thing to catch the eye in this nebulizing diffusers is its beautiful design. The centerpiece of this diffuser is its ornamented glass reservoir topping the wooden base. The decorative elements on the glass add some depth to the diffuser’s design which would otherwise feel bare.
When it comes to functionality, the Radiance diffuser is no less good. Being a nebulizing diffuser, it delivers a potent aromatizing effect without the use of water or heat.
Plus, it runs a special 2-hour cycle to deliver the oil – 2 minutes on and 1 minute off – to help preserve the oil a bit longer. Overall, it is capable of covering up to 800 square feet.
The Radiance also has an inbuilt LED light with a rainbow carousel effect. This effect looks beautiful, but, unfortunately, you can’t set the light to a fixed color. You could switch the light completely off though.
And the last thing that should be noted about this oil diffuser is that it can run on both 110V and 220V currents, which should allow you to use this diffuser anywhere in the world.
- Beautiful design.
- 2 color options.
- Covers up to 800 square feet.
- Supports 110V and 220V input.
- Colorful rainbow-effect LED light.
2. Organic Aromas Raindrop 2.0 Diffuser
Yet another Organic Aromas nebulizing oil diffuser on our list! This time, it is the Raindrop 2.0. It is pretty much identical to the Radiance diffuser in terms of aromatizing capacity, but it differs in the design quite a bit.
To be fair, the Raindrop 2.0 oil diffuser’s looks didn’t have as big wow-effect on us as the Radiance had. This essential oil diffuser still is an elegant and beautiful piece, but it doesn’t look as spectacular to us as the Radiance diffuser. But there will definitely be people who will love the looks of this diffuser more.
As for the diffusing functionality, the Raindrop is pretty much identical to the Radiance. It has the same 2-hour cycle, the up to 800 square feet coverage, and the rainbow LED light. And it also can work both with 110V and 220V.
- Up to 800 square feet coverage.
- 2 color choices.
- Works with 110V and 220V.
- LED light with a rainbow effect.
3. Aromis Wood and Glass Diffuser
Aromis’s nebulizing oil diffuser looks very much like Organic Aromas Radiance we reviewed in the beginning. But when it comes to aromatherapy, the capabilities of the two are vastly different.
First of all, the diffusing cycle is completely different in this unit. It lasts overall 4 hours, with consecutive 10-minute on and 10-minute off cycles.
Thanks to this, the effect of this diffuser should be longer-lasting. But it should also be noted that this diffuser tends to use up the oil rather quickly, so you’d need to put more in it for it to run for 4 hours.
The coverage of this oil diffuser is 900 square feet as well, which is a bit more than what Organic Aromas had to offer. This 100 square feet difference can be crucial for some people.
What you may also like about this diffuser is that it doesn’t have any LED lights. If the lights of your old diffuser have been really interfering with your sleep, then you may want to go for this oil diffuser.
Lastly, as we already said, Aromis diffuser looks similar to Organic Aromas Radiance diffuser. This one is a bit simpler though since its reservoir doesn’t have any decorative details on it. On the other hand, Aromis offers two glass reservoir options for this diffuser, which could be a plus for some people.
- Gorgeous design.
- Can run for up to 4 hours.
- Up to 900 square feet coverage.
- 2 color and 1 glass reservoir shape options.
- Doesn’t have any LED lights.
- Requires slightly more oil than the other units to run for 4 hours.
4. Organic Aromas Exquisite Diffuser
An Organic Aromas diffuser once again! The Exquisite diffuser is identical to the other two Organic Aromas oil diffusers we’ve reviewed. Namely, it has the same coverage, 2-hour cycle, and dual-voltage support.
What differs though quite significantly in this essential oil diffuser is its design. The Exquisite nebulizing essential oil diffuser has quite a sleek and exquisite look, justifying its name. If you were looking for a nebulizing diffuser for a modern-style interior, then this one may be the right choice.
Organic Aromas also offers 3 color options for this diffuser – black, red, and white – so most of the people should be able to find a spot for it in their room.
The thing that we don’t really like about this diffuser is the narrow opening of its glass reservoir. It’s pretty difficult to fill this diffuser up with oil, so you’d need to be extra careful not to spill it.
- Sleek design.
- 3 color options.
- Up to 800 square feet coverage.
- LED light with a rainbow effect.
- Works with 110-220V.
- The narrow reservoir opening makes adding oil a bit difficult.
5. UONE Aroma Essential Oil Nebulizing Diffuser
UONE’s nebulizing essential oil diffuser is the most elegant diffuser on our list. We’ve reviewed pretty spectacular diffusers today, but we think none of them was as good-looking as this one. This oil diffuser may not be as good for modern interiors as Organic Aromas Exquisite, but it still can fit in in a variety of styles.
In terms of aromatizing capabilities, UONE diffuser appears to be close to Organic Aromas’ units. The manufacturer doesn’t indicate what its max coverage is, but we know that it runs on the same 2-hour cycle.
This diffuser also appears to have a similar LED light effect, though it doesn’t behave like a rainbow. It just auto-switches between the inbuilt 7 colors. Unfortunately, the light cannot be fixed to one color: you can only turn it on or off.
The slightly wider voltage range of this diffuser is also notable. It supports 110-240V inputs, which could make a big difference for some people.
The only thing that we dislike in this diffuser is its rather delicate glass reservoir. It appears to be thinner than in other diffusers, so you’d need to be careful when cleaning it.
- Elegant looks.
- Relatively inexpensive.
- Auto-changing 7 LED light colors.
- Supports 110-240V input.
- The glass top is thin and quite fragile.
6. Organic Aromas Opulence Diffuser
And the last oil diffuser on our list of best nebulizer essential oil diffusers is Opulence by Organic Aromas.
Like you’d probably expect, the Opulence diffuser has the same aromatizing capacity as the other 3 Organic Aromas diffusers on our list. Likewise, it has a coverage of up to 800 square feet, 110-220V support, as well as the same 2-hour running cycle.
Obviously, the main difference in this oil diffuser is design. The Opulence diffuser is a rather sleek-looking model, and it should fit in great with modern-style interiors. We aren’t quite sure about the looks of this diffuser though.
Have you noticed the flask-like look in this diffuser? That is the thing that may make or break your interior. And while Organic Aromas probably had another thing in mind, the strong association with a chemical flask is still there. It just looks a bit weird to us.
But what’s more important to us is that the Opulence is a no less good diffuser than the other models on our list.
- Up to 800 square feet coverage.
- 2 color options.
- Works with 110-220V inputs.
- You may dislike the fact that this diffuser looks like a lab flask.
Nebulizer Essential Oil Diffuser Buying Guide
Now, how do you make a choice from these 6 beautiful nebulizing oil diffusers? Well, you need to know what to look for in them. Let’s without further ado see what matters the most in oil diffusers.
Essential oil diffuser types
First off, we think we should touch upon the differences in oil diffuser types. If you know those differences, you will be able to decide whether you really need a nebulizing diffuser or not.
Nebulizing diffusers basically use pressurized air to blow the fine oil particles into the environment. These nebulizers don’t use any water or heat, due to the which they are preferred by many diffuser users. In addition, the aromatizing effect in these diffusers tends to be the most potent among diffuser types.
What you should know about these diffusers, however, is that they use up essential oils quicker than other types. If you are on a very tight budget, you may be unable to maintain a nebulizing diffuser.
Ultrasonic diffusers employ ultrasonic vibrations – as suggested by the name – to break the essential oil down into fine particles and mix them with water. This oil-water mixture provides both an aromatizing and humidifying effect. Since ultrasonic diffusers rely on water, they require water-soluble essential oils to be used.
Ultrasonic diffusers are messier than nebulizing diffusers due to the use of water. In addition, their effect is less potent because of the diluting of the oil in the water.
Evaporative diffusers use either inbuilt fans or heat to disperse oils. They don’t use any water, so they sure are less messy than ultrasonic diffusers.
Evaporative diffusers with fans can spread aromas rather quickly, but they have one crucial downside: the lighter elements of the oil tend to get dispersed quicker than the heavier elements. Due to this, fan diffusers sometimes are not able to uncover the full benefits of essential oils. And yeah, the fans make evaporative diffusers louder than other types.
Heat-operated evaporative diffusers are quiet, but the bad thing about them is that the heat can alter the compounds in the oil, which may not be the thing that you want. They do produce strong aromas though. By keeping the heat lower, one may be able to preserve the composition of the oils while still making the home smell good.
Things to look for in oil diffusers
The room coverage will dictate how much area the diffuser will be able to aromatize. Needless to say, you’d want to select a unit that provides you with the coverage you need.

Most oil diffusers have LED lights to help you create a better ambiance. Some diffusers have auto-changing color patterns, while others allow you to select a specific light color. This is just a nice extra that doesn’t make the diffuser spread oil better, but it can help you establish a proper atmosphere in the room.
Oil diffusers usually have timer settings that allow you to set the time period during which the oil will be dispersed. If this matters to you, make sure that the diffuser you are getting has the timer settings that you need.
Considering the design of your diffuser may be important to you as well. It would probably be a good idea to choose a diffuser that won’t break the looks of your interior. But if you don’t care about looks, any design could work for you.
How often do you need to clean these diffusers?
The main rule here is not to allow the oil to dry up in the machine, or it will just get blocked. If you are going to use the diffuser often, then you won’t need to clean the diffuser after every use. How often to clean will depend on your preference.
Can you use these diffusers in a humid environment like a sauna?
We wouldn’t recommend that since the internal components of nebulizing diffusers are usually not protected from moisture.
