As a multi-level marketing (MLM) company, it\u2019s estimated that they have over 110,000 representatives worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Since 2010, the company has been a top-ranking private Idaho business, this year, they made No. 9. Out of the twelve years that they\u2019ve made the list, they were one of the top 15 companies<\/a> in nine of those years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Scentsy is committed to leading the direct-sales industry with high-quality products that help build community through direct connection with family-centered independent consultants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n And this mission seems to be paying off. Their year-one revenue was $140,000, now they are a billion dollar company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I\u2019m not sure if this is unique to Scentsy or not, but they seem to be distancing themselves from the term, multi-level marketing, and instead referring to themselves as a direct-sales company. <\/p>\n\n\n\n What\u2019s interesting, though, is that their independent consultants earn more income when they build out a team.<\/strong> Team building is a hallmark feature of multi-level-marketing businesses. In this 2020 income disclosure statement<\/a> for Scentsy\u2019s United States consultants, earnings varied widely.
