While there is no industry standard for what is considered to be a <a href=\"https:\/\/housefragrance.com\/is-incense-natural\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"4117\">natural product<\/a>, products are often categorized as \u201cgood\u201d or \u201cbad\u201d based on this one term.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So for the purpose of this article, natural incense is plainly defined as, incense that is made with ingredients that are solely sourced from nature, without incorporating any man-made elements.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>In this case, not all HEM incense is 100% natural.&nbsp;<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>HEM incense incorporates natural ingredients like ground up botanicals, woods, resins, and essential oils into their product line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>While no harmful chemical or waste byproducts find their way into HEM incense, some of their products <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/ifrafragrance.org\/fragrance-and-you\/what-is-a-fragrance\" target=\"_blank\">do contain fragrance oils<\/a>, which are man-made in their in-house fragrance laboratory. Even so, HEM specifically states that their products are \u201cfree of any harmful toxic gasses or emissions.\u201d <\/strong>And they constantly facilitate product tests to ensure that these poisons do not exist in their products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>I would describe HEM incense as mostly natural.&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, they use only sustainable ingredients, none of their products are tested on animals, nor are any animal products used, making them vegan.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since HEM Corporation is IFRA-approved, I think that customers can more confidently burn HEM incense.
