What differs between the candles though is their presentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The single-wick candle is just your classical scented candle. On the other hand, 3-wick candles offer a livelier flame along with perhaps a quicker scent release. This candle is from the White Barn series which, as mentioned earlier, boasts more elegant fragrances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The scent of this candle is comprised of black cherry &amp; merlot. Merlot is particularly interesting since it\u2019s not a fragrance that we see in scented candles frequently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Merlot is a grape variety cultivated throughout the world (though it\u2019s most often associated with France) and used in winemaking. If you happen to like specifically merlot or grapes in general, this scented candle may be an excellent option for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What we also like in this candle is the vessel. It\u2019s a very simple glass container that isn\u2019t much different from other Bath &amp; Body Works candles, but it has distinct and elegant dark purple coloring \u2013 again not a frequent sight in scented candles. In fact, it\u2019s high-intensity, so if you want stronger fragrance, this particular candle is perhaps the best one. Some people think that the scent in this candle is cologne-like, but most people had no complaints about it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The vessel is cool too \u2013 it\u2019s exactly like in the Black Cherry Merlot candle, but it\u2019s colored in black. You are getting the same exact container, though it\u2019s transparent and would thus combine with brighter interiors a little bit better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The number of candle wicks is again 3, and each container includes 25-45-hour worth of candle wax.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s also interesting that this particular candle is very popular \u2013 as of this post, it had 4.4 stars and over 1,300 ratings on Amazon. However, the previous Mahogany Teakwood candle has a stronger scent. So if you prefer subtle scents in your space, then this 2-pack should be a better choice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The highlight of this candle set is that it includes two 7-ounce candles, so in total, you are getting nearly the same amount of wax and burn time as with the large, 3-wick candle. However, because you can place the candles in different areas of the room \u2013 e.g. in the corners \u2013 you should be able to achieve better scent distribution with them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, the candles here are single-wick, so they won\u2019t deliver as spectacular of a show as the 3-wick candle.
