In the past several years, essential oils have become one of the most popular ways to scent your home and reap the benefits of aromatic, natural compounds. In my quest to find the highest-quality essential oils on the market, I stumbled upon Lagunamoon, and after trying some of their products, I have become a fan.
Lagunamoon’s essential oils and personal care lines are all-natural, nature-conscious products that are extremely high quality in my opinion. They are also vegan-friendly, cruelty-free, and additive-free. With these characteristics, Lagunamoon’s essential oils are a great option to use in essential oil diffusers, massage oil blends, or homemade soaps.
To help you get an overview of Lagunamoon essential oils, I’m going to share the company’s vision and talk a little bit about its product lines. I’m also going to give you a detailed review of five of their best essential oils so that you can decide whether you’d like to try this brand of essential oils in your own home.

This essential oil comes in a whopping 5-ounce blue glass bottle. It is a premium-grade lavender essential oil that has been extracted by steam distillation. There are no fillers or additives – the only ingredient is pure Lavender Angustifolia, which aligns with Lagunamoon’s company values. Lavender is one of my favorite scents and this lavender oil smelled heavenly. I used it in my diffuser to create a calm, relaxing atmosphere before I went to sleep. I also mixed it with a carrier oil and used it to massage my shoulders and put a little bit in my hair.
I loved the clean, crisp label on the bottle and I know that the oil is safe from degradation in the blue-tinted glass. This is one of my favorite lavender essential oils and for the size, the price is totally fair. If you are a lavender fan, this is a great product.
Pros
- Strong, pure lavender scent
- Attractive label and bottle color
- Practical bottle for storage
- Steam distilled to produce a clean extract
Cons
- If you don’t use essential oils often, the size is quite big

With the dropper, I was able to measure out how much I used by squeezing one drop at a time. This essential oil is 100% pure lemongrass that was steam distilled. I loved that there are no fillers or schools in this product. Lemongrass is an acquired scent, and while I find it a little bit unpleasant, I have to say that it works wonders as an additive to cleaning products. I put a few drops in a vinegar solution to clean my windows and there were no streaks. I also used it in my DIY bug spray and bug-repelling candles. The lemongrass scent worked great and I didn’t get any mosquito bites. Pros Cons No products found. Lagunamoon’s eucalyptus essential oil comes from all-natural leaves from the eucalyptus tree. As with their other essential oils, it is 100% pure with no fillers or additives, which is something that I like about the product. This essential oil comes in a blue glass bottle which protects the product from degrading due to the sun’s harmful UV rays. I enjoy the pungent, almost medicinal smell that this eucalyptus essential oil radiates. I used it in my diffuser when my sinuses were stuffed up and they seemed to clear right away. I also experimented with this oil when making my own homemade shampoo and conditioner. I was pleasantly surprised by the scent it created when mixed with lavender and rosemary essential oil. My only issue was that I had to fill the bottle dropper repeatedly to get the amount of oil that I wanted. Pros Cons
The Tea Tree, or Melaleuca alternifolia, is a plant found in Australia. This tea tree oil is 100% natural and is steam distilled from the leaves of the tea tree plant. It comes in the signature Lagunamoon blue glass bottle with a clean and clear, no-fuss label and glass dropper top. This tea tree oil has a strong smell and I could tell that it is a high-quality oil just from the scent. I used this tea tree essential oil with jojoba oil on my face and I noticed the redness seemed to calm down. I also put the oil in some castor oil and used it on my cuticles. My cuticles stayed moisturized and looked really healthy when using the tea tree. I don’t have sensitive skin, but if you do, make sure to test a small spot for allergies if you decide to use tea tree oil on your skin. This is a great quality oil, but the plant extract itself can cause irritation. Pros Cons No products found. If you love the scent of lemon, you’ll enjoy Lagunamoon’s lemon essential oil. The lemon essential oil comes in a blue bottle made of glass and gives you a glass dropper for easy use. There are 5 ounces of oil in the bottle, which will last you quite a long time. The aromatic properties of lemon essential oil can brighten your mood and give you a clean, uplifted feeling. I used this essential oil in my home cleaning products. It worked great on my countertops and made my kitchen smell super clean. This essential oil is cold-pressed, which retains the beneficial compounds in the essential oil. Something to be aware of though, is that citrus essential oil, like lemon, are phototoxic and can cause major skin issues if you put them on your skin and go out into the sun. Lagunamoon recommends diluting this oil to at least 3% if you use it in a product that will be on your skin. Pros Cons
This essential oil set from Lagunamoon contains 20 premium essential oils. The bottles are 10mL, just enough to test them out in the diffuser with a few drops. With this set, you receive rosemary, peppermint, frankincense, lavender, orange, tea tree, grapefruit, chamomile, and a few others. I ordered this set for my mom as a birthday present and we both loved it. The oils came in a beautiful black box and the variety of scents have kept my mom’s home smelling amazing over the past few weeks. She especially likes to combine the jasmine and vanilla options.
